‘Wythenshawe 1933’ animation

In an earlier blog about housing in Wythenshawe I shared some images of a map and photographs from the collections here at Archives+ to accompany the sound clips from oral history interviews from the Manchester Studies collection.

These sound clips were also used by one of the Archives+ Community Officers who was working with a group of young people to create animated shorts.

‘Wythenshawe 1933’ is their creative response to an anecdote about how families moved house at that time.
