Interviewer: [00:00:00] Did you find that, er, once women had children, it was a problem, them getting out to meetings?

Mrs. F: [00:00:08] Oh it was, it was most certainly a problem, unless you were lucky enough to have a relative or a friend that you could, know that you could leave the children with. And if you were working class people it just was very difficult because you couldn’t afford to say I’ll pay a babysitter. That you could not do! So, it was obvious that you wouldn’t be able to go to half as many meetings, after a family came along, as you would have done before.
